Fly the Red and White, Lower the Morning Star

Fly the Red and White, Lower the Morning Star

For the sake of love for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) and wanting peace in Bumi Cenderawasih, Papuans rushed down the Morning Star flag and raised the Red and White flag,

"I am not afraid to die for Merah Putih," said a man while waving Merah Putih.

The Morning Star flag is often associated with the Papua referendum. Starting from the existence of a group of people who called themselves the Red and White Barisan then asked for the Morning Star flag to be lowered.

However, the masses did not want to lower the Morning Star flag and instead threw stones at the office of the Customary Council. The action also provoked local residents who felt the Customary Council did not accommodate adat in Papua, a clash ensued.

But residents still lower the Morning Star flag and replace it with the red and white flag. This is a manifestation of the love of Papuans in their homeland, namely Indonesia. They don't want any other bikes to fly in Papua besides the red and white flag.
