West Papua Kadin Invites Bank Indonesia to Build Original Papua SMEs

The West Papua Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) invites Bank Indonesia (BI) West Papua Representative to foster indigenous Papuan SMEs. The invitation was conveyed during their visit to the West Papua Representative BI office in Manukwari.

West Papua Kadin Chair Marlina and her entourage visited the West Bank representative office of Bank Indonesia in Manokwari. They were met directly by Widarto, deputy of Bank Indonesia West Papua.

"We invite Bank Indonesia in West Papua to work together with KADIN in terms of coaching, mentoring, and market markets for SMEs in West Papua," Merlina said.

After meeting with Bank Indonesia Deputies, West Papua Kadin agreed to become a joint partner. "We will develop MSMEs native to West Papua and the potential of these abundant natural resources," he said.

Previously, West Papua's Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) led by Marlina held an audience with West Papua Deputy Governor Mohammad Lakatoni. The hearing was held at the Deputy Governor's Office in Manokwari, Monday (1/13/2020).

After the hearing was held, Chairperson of West Papua Kadin Marlina said if her party wanted to work together with the West Papua Regional Government to develop the economy of West Papua. The Chairman of the West Papua IKAPI DPW also added that West Papua has great potential to attract foreign investors.
