Prevent Corona Virus, Papuan Keerom High School Students Are Frequently Warned with Handwashing

The Keerom Regional Police Binmas Unit reminded students at Arso 14 Catholic Vocational School, Skanto Keerom District, Papua to wash their hands diligently, in order to avoid transmission of the corona virus. The socialization was carried out after carrying out joint community service activities to clean up the school environment.

Kasat Binmas of Keerom Regional Police AKP Mujiad said that cleaning the school environment was carried out as an effort to prevent the entry of the corona virus. Mujiad said besides washing hands, it was needed to keep the environment clean and consume nutritious food.

"We invite these vocational students to always maintain cleanliness in the surrounding environment. Don't forget to wash your hands, before and after eating or after carrying out activities and direct physical contact such as shaking hands with others," he said, Saturday (3/14).

One student named Maria thanked the local police, for having reminded students to anticipate the entry of corona. Maria believes in maintaining the health of each other, preventing the corona virus from attacking.

"We were reminded to wash hands with running water with soap, clean between the fingers and nail tips. This is one of the maximum hand washing movements that we rarely know about," he explained.
