Infantry Battalion 411 Kostrad Rewarded Textbooks To Motivate Papuan Children

In order to motivate students sitting in elementary school to implement government policies at home due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Infantry Battalion MR 411 / Kostrad Kostrad who is a member of the RI-PNG Pamtas Task Force gives textbook prizes to children in the village Baidub, Ulilin District, Papua.

Dansatgas Yonif MR 411 / PDW Kostrad Major Inf Rizky Aditya revealed that the spread of the Coronavirus Disease pandemic (Covid-19) resulted in many students having to carry out learning activities at home, both through facilities within the network and outside the network.

"In the midst of these policies, of course attention and affection must always be devoted to students so that they can continue to excel and not get bored when studying at home," said Major Inf Rizky Aditya.

He further said that to provide motivation and enthusiasm for the children, 6 Bupul Post 12 personnel led by Wadanpos Sertu Agus Duwi gave reading books and textbooks to students of Bupul 12 Inpres Elementary School in Baidub Village.

"Hopefully this simple thing can bring good benefits amid the corona virus pandemic which requires school children to study at home," he said.

"This way is expected to also be able to cause habits and have a positive impact on students, especially in increasing interest in reading (literacy)," added Major Inf Rizky Aditya.

Meanwhile, Wadanpos Bupul 12 Sertu Agus Duwi said that the provision of textbooks and readings was as a gift to motivate school children who implement a learning policy at home.

"This simple thing, hopefully can be useful for our younger siblings who study at home due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Of course we are all very happy to see the joy of children when they receive open lessons and reading books that we provide, "said Agus.
