Jayapura District Police Spread Thousands of Fish Seedlings in Muara Tami

To support the Government's Program on food security, Jayapura City Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Gustav R Urbinas distributed thousands of fish breeds in the West Kota Muara Tami District aquaculture on Friday (6/26/20).

The release of 10,000 catfish and Tilapia fish was attended by the Muara Tami Police Chief AKP Jubelina Wally and the Muara Police Sector Kanit and members in order to maintain food security and environmental sustainability.

"This was done as a form of service from Jayapura City Police to support food security during the co-19 pandemic," said AKBP Gustav R Urbinas.

The Kapolresta further said that what was done at this time was very good and beneficial for the members and the community, so that in the future they could get results that were in line with expectations that could later be given to people who needed it amid the co-19 pandemic.

"Where there are 10,000 aunts of fish sown, there are two types, namely 8,000 catfish and 2,000 tilapia to support food security in the city of Jayapura," he explained.

"Hopefully the next three months we are ready to harvest and can be useful for many people," concluded the Police Chief.
