The impact of the corona virus pandemic (COVID-19) to date has not only been experienced by urban communities but is also greatly felt by communities in Getentiri Village, Jair District, Boven Digoel Regency, Papua Province because the income of families of residents continued to decline during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Seeing these conditions, the management of PT Tunas Sawa Erma POP B (TSE-B) which is part of the business of the Korindo Group operating in Papua took the initiative to provide assistance to the community in Getentiri Village to remain productive and be able to increase family income.
"The assistance provided by TSE-B times is in the form of fish seeds and vegetable gardening tools so that later it can be maximized to increase family income which is currently constrained due to the COVID-19 outbreak," said PT TSE-B's General Manager Mr. Sunman Kim in a written statement received BETWEEN, Monday.
The fish and vegetable seedlings were handed over directly to PT TSE-B's General Manager Mr. Sunman Kim to three recipient groups, including the group Andreas Andreas, the Antonius group and the Barili Secilius Group.
Assistance and good faith from the company were responded to happily by the people affected by COVID-19 in Gententiri Village, Jair District, Boven Digoel Regency.
Marga Kahong II and Andreas Namagi Chairmen from Getentiri Village expressed their gratitude to the company which has always been paying attention to the people of Papua, especially in helping to improve the economy and welfare of the community.
