Regent of Mamberamo Tengah embodies the building of a Catholic church

Central Mamberamo Regent Ricky Ham Pagawak fulfilled his faith promise by building a church building for Catholics in Ilugwa District, Central Mamberamo Regency.

The construction of the Catholic Church of the Stasi Christ King Ilugwa Church of Christ the Light of the World Yiwika Deity of the Central Mountains of the Diocese of Jayapura was marked by the laying of the first stone of construction carried out by the Regent Ricky Ham Pagawak (RHP) and the Dean of the Central Mountains Decenate Father Kornelis, Wednesday.

The groundbreaking of the construction of the Catholic Church was also attended by Deputy District Head Yonas Kenelak, DPRD Chairperson Hengky Dani Yikwa, 9 Pastors of the Central Mountains Decenate Parish and hundreds of Catholics of Stasi Christ King Ilugwa.

Regent Ricky Ham Pagawak said, this was proof of the promise of faith that had been delivered to Catholics in the Ilugwa District that there would always be support for God's work. One of them is by building a Catholic church.

According to Regent Ricky Ham Pagawak, church construction is a government program to prepare facilities such as churches so that people can worship comfortably.

For him, the government has great concern for the church, because Central Mamberamo Regency can exist, because it contributes to the church by providing recommendations.

"With a proper church building, it will provide motivation to the people at the Stations of Christ King Ilugwa to increase the growth of their faith," he said.
