Come to the Puskesmas, Poor Residents in Sorong Can Free Rapid Test |
Poor citizens in the city of Sorong, West Papua, who want to travel outside the region can go to the puskesmas for a free rapid test. But they must first pocket a letter of recommendation from the task force handling Covid-19.
Secretary of the Sorong Covid-19 Handling Task Force, Herlin Sasabone said, according to the policy of Mayor Lambert Jitmau, this free rapid test is specifically for the poor and students who want to travel.
"This rapid test can be done on 10 puskesmas in Sorong," Herlin said in Sorong City, West Papua, Wednesday (1/7/2020).
They can go directly to the nearest health center and bring a letter of recommendation from the task force. There is no charge for those undergoing the rapid test examination.
"If there are levies for underprivileged travelers, students and students, please come report to the task force post," he said.
According to him, so far the free rapid test is only for people who have close contact with corona virus positive patients. However, the Sorong City Government makes it easy for those who want to carry out normal activities, even to get out of the area.
