President Jokowi Virtually Appointed IPDN Praja



In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated a young civil service candidate who graduated from the Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN) class XXVII virtually from the Bogor Presidential Palace.

"By giving thanks to the presence of God Almighty, for His grace and grace, today, Wednesday, July, 2020, I am the President of the Republic of Indonesia on behalf of the government of the Republic of Indonesia inaugurating the brothers as young civil servants who graduated from the Institute XXVII Domestic Government in 2020, "said the President, Wednesday (07/29/2020).

"I believe that the brothers can carry out their duties properly in accordance with the responsibilities given," continued Jokowi.

According to the President, that to be appointed as a young civil service was not easy. Because it requires a great struggle. Therefore, he also congratulated 881 IPDN cadets who were appointed today.

"On this happy occasion, on behalf of the person, on behalf of the people, on behalf of the nation and state I congratulate you on your appointment as Young Civil Servants. Congratulations on getting a new status with all the rights and obligations attached to it," he said.

Jokowi asked the prajaja to thank parents, lecturers, trainers and caregivers for their dedication. He also advised that these bureaucrat candidates maintain integrity.

"Congratulations on duty, the young Indonesian civil service continues to learn to keep abreast of the times. Maintain integrity as a public servant. Keep your honor as a servant of the country. Make Indonesia progress in the hands of your brothers, "he concluded.

To note, 881 praja appointed by the President consisted of 176 graduates of Government Science and 705 graduates of Government Science D4.

Present directly in the inauguration today were four representatives of civil service candidates representing four religions as well as saying the civil service pledge. In addition, also present directly at the Palace were cadets who received the title of the best graduates.

The inauguration ceremony also included a number of limited invitations, including Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security Mahfud MD, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.
