The highest tariff limit for Rapid Test Covid-19 has been set by the Ministry of Health to be Rp. 150,000
The Ministry of Health sets the highest limit for the rapid antibody test to detect the corona virus (Covid-19) at Rp 150,000.
This is stated in Circular Number HK.02.02 / I / 2875/2020 concerning the Highest Limit of Antibody Rapid Test Rates. The letter was signed by the Director General of Health Services Bambang Wibowo on July 6, 2020.
"That's right (the highest limit of Rp 150,000)," said Director General of Disease Prevention and Control of the Ministry of Health, Achmad Yurianto, Tuesday (07/07/2020).
In a circular explained, these costs apply to people who want to do the examination independently. The examination is also still being carried out by competent health workers.
Every health care facility was asked to follow the tariff limits set by the Ministry of Health. Previously reported, the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi said, it had asked the Ministry of Finance to provide rapid test subsidies for people who would travel, especially public transport users.
Because, at the moment the high cost of rapid tests is a public complaint. The price can be more expensive than the cost of using public transportation.
"We are asking the Ministry of Finance for this rapid test to be subsidized to those who travel," he said in a working meeting with Commission V of the Indonesian Parliament on Wednesday (1/7/2020).
He said, basically the problem of rapid tests was the authority of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Covid-19 Handling. However, he continued to provide input to the Task Force related to conditions in the field.
"We are working together, God willing, our task force has a pretty good performance," he said.
Budi Karya said that the effort also made by his party was to provide rules to all public transportation operators to determine the right partner in conducting a rapid test.
Because, the cost of rapid tests currently varies. He hopes operators can choose partners who provide rapid test facilities at affordable costs for passengers.
"From the experience of my visit to Solo and Yogyakarta the rapid test was Rp. 300,000, but there were those who provided Rp. 100,000," he said.
