The TNI Supports the Health Office in Posyandu Cadre Training in Merauke

Task Force Yonif 125 / Simbisa together with a team from the Merauke Regency Health Office held a Posyandu Cadre training in the Toray Village Hall, Sota District, Merauke Regency, Papua Province.

"In addition to sharing knowledge, training activities for Posyandu cadres are also expected to improve health services for border residents," said Dansatgas Infantry Battalion 125 / Simbisa, Lieutenant Colonel Anjuanda Pardosi in Merauke, Tuesday (07/07/2020).

Together with a team from the Merauke Regency Health Office, four Task Force personnel from the Toray Post led by Letda Inf Bambang Suprapto provided training and guidance to Posyandu cadres in an atmosphere of intimacy.

It was further said that cadre training like this was expected to continue so that more people would become Posyandu cadres, so that health services to the border communities would be better.

"With good health services, the health of citizens is getting better and welfare will also increase," he said.

In a separate place, Head of the District Health Office of Merauke District Health Office Yosepina Sanpe Riba, SKM (44 years) said that the Posyandu Cadre Training activity was attended by 13 participants, seven from Toray Village and six from Erambu Village.

Posyandu Cadre Training Material starts from the functions and tasks of cadres, Posyandu cadre activities, health services for pregnant women and fertile age couples, infant and toddler immunization services and prevention of infectious diseases.

"We thank you for the participation and cooperation of the Task Force who have helped in the implementation of this activity," he said.
