Welcoming the 75th Indonesian Independence Day, TNI Distributes and Waves the Red and White Flag in Bompai Village, Papu

In order to welcome and celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the Task Force for Pamtas Yonif 312 / KH distributed red and white flags to residents in Bompai Village, Waris District, Keerom Regency, Papua. Wednesday (5/8/2020)

This was conveyed by Dansatgas Yonif 312 / Kala Hitam, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Dedy Ariyanto, S.I.P., M.M., M.Han., M.I.Pol when he was about to distribute the Red and White Flag.

Dansatgas disclosed, the territorial development activity in the form of distributing red and white flags was carried out by the Bompai Post, led by Danpos Lt. Inf Yamin J. Together with several personnel in one of the assisted villages, namely Bompai Village.

"This activity is a form of proof to the citizens that the TNI is from the people and for the people, hopefully our presence can be more meaningful in the hearts of the people," he said.

In a separate location, Letda Inf Yamin J. Expressed that the initiative of this activity was started when there were still some residents who had not put up the red and white flag at their house. After searching it turned out that the flags they had were no longer suitable to be installed.

"Not only giving, but we also immediately helped the residents to put up the red and white flag, it is an honor to see their enthusiasm and happiness in putting up the red and white flag we gave," he said.

Meanwhile, Yakob Swo, one of the residents, expressed his gratitude for the distribution of the red and white flag.

"It's not that we don't want to install it, but we don't have money to buy a new flag. I'm glad the Army can help us with our troubles," he said.
