ENTERING the preparations for the XX Papua National Sports Week (PON) in 2020, which was postponed in 2021, Tuesday (24/11) Head of the Mimika Cluster XX Papua Sub PB PON, Margin PAIDING representing the General Chairman accompanied by the General Secretary, Cesar A. Tunya facilitates media leaders and journalists in the formation of Public Relations and Media Broadcasting Services (PR and PPM) of the Mimika Cluster XX Papua Sub PB PON.

"We are grateful for the joint initiative and willingness of media leaders and journalists who attended this meeting, including agreeing on the formation of Public Relations and PPM for the Mimika Cluster XX Papua PON Sub PB," said Marthin Paiding at the end of the meeting.

In the meeting which was attended by almost all leaders of print and electronic media in Mimika Regency, a Public Relations and PPM Team was formed which was directly agreed by the media leaders and journalists who attended the 23 meeting participants. The result will be recommended for Mimika CLUSTER XX PON PON PB to produce a decree by PB PON XX Papua in Jayapura. It is hoped that this Public Relations Team can then carry out their duties responsibly for the success of PON XX Papua in the Mimika Cluster.

Furthermore, Public Relations and PPM PON XX Papua Mimika Cluster are ready to undergo training held by PB PON XX Papua in order to maximize the implementation of their duties to prepare for the success of PON XX Papua in the coming 2021.

General Secretary of Mimika Cluster XX Papua PON Sub PB, Cesar A. Tunya acknowledged that the Public Relations and PPM tasks would be very heavy because apart from planning, carrying out professional journalism duties in the field to providing the expected publicity material. Public Relations and PPM must also be ready to pick up and accompany all media practitioners who will come and carry out their duties in Mimika Regency.

"I hope that all can wisely carry out every responsibility with all good and satisfying considerations and I believe that the Public Relations and PPM of PON XX Papua in the Mimika Cluster will be ready to do it," he said optimistically.
