Papua Ready to Hold PON 2021

The Papua National Sports Week (PON) Grand Committee (PB) ensures readiness to hold the biggest multievent sport in Indonesia this year. They have set the tagline, Torang Can!

To coincide with 300 days before PON 2021, PB PON is holding a Papua Light Festival which is held simultaneously with the change of 2020 to 2021 virtually.

"All of these activities are a sign that Papua Province is ready to carry out PON 2021. We are also ready to welcome you athletes from all over Indonesia to compete. We will present an adequate broadcasting system and streaming services that can be enjoyed by the people of Indonesia. Torang Can! ”Said Yunus Wonda, Chief Executive of the National Sports Week Executive.

Especially for the Papua Light Festival which is broadcast virtually, Yunus Wonda said that this activity would be the first because besides being held virtually, it is also a unique and out of the box set of venues, and of course offers natural wealth in Papua.
