Social Minister Tri Rismaharini said the Ministry of Social Affairs sent assistance to victims of KKB in Puncak Regency, Papua.
The aid was sent based on the request of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD.
"Today we are sending it to Puncak Regency, Papua. We are sending aid because many residents have fled, so I was asked by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs to send aid there," said Risma when met at Royal Plaza Surabaya, Saturday (17/4/2021).
In fact, Risma wanted to distribute social assistance directly to refugees in Puncak Regency, Papua. However, he was not allowed to go to Papua, because the security situation was not yet conducive.
