Don't be afraid of KSTP

There are quite a lot of separatist groups in Papua. The police said there were 6 illegal organizations in Papua that were categorized as separatist groups.

The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) often carries out terror in the mountains of Papua. Papua Police Chief Inspector General Pol Mathius Fakhiri said there are six groups currently active in carrying out security disturbances in the mountainous region of Papua.

"They are found in Puncak, Intan Jaya, and Nduga regencies," said Mathius Fakhiri, Sunday (2/5) yesterday.

He said that actually there are many KKB Papuan groups, but only six are active so far.

They carried out terror in the Ilaga and Beoga areas of Puncak Regency, Sugapa, Intan Jaya Regency and in the Nduga area.

The KKB leader who is active in the mountainous region of Papua has long been included in the Police Wanted List (DPO) such as Lekagak Telenggen, Murib Military, Sabinus Waker, Egianus Kogoya and others.

"Divisions from the Lekagak Telenggen group in Puncak Regency are now divided into two groups," said Inspector General Fakhiri.

Kapolda emphasized that with the current combined strength of TNI and Polri personnel in Papua, the authorities will do their utmost to quickly arrest the KKB kingpins who have been the main actors behind a series of armed violence in the mountainous region of Papua.

"Of course we from the police try our best to arrest them alive so that their network is exposed. But if they fight, we'll be paralyzed. Until now we are still working, ”said Inspector General Fakhiri.

In this context, the Papua Regional Police together with local TNI elements continue to mobilize all elements of society and the regional government so that they are not afraid and immediately separate themselves from the armed group which has now been designated as a terrorist group.

"We have to ensure that law enforcement actions are taken against those who have been part of the group that carried out security disturbances in Puncak, Intan Jaya and Nduga regencies," he said.

"Maybe later there will be splinters of them coming from Puncak Jaya and Paniai Regencies," explained Inspector General Fakhiri.
