The Police Have Mapped Out the Personnel Strengths and Armaments of the KKB in Papua
The National Police has mapped the strengths of the armed criminal groups (KKB) in Papua. The power mapping includes personnel strength to KKB weaponry. This was revealed by the Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Pol. Ahmad Ramadhan.
Reporting from Tribratanews, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police said that the mapping had been successfully carried out and known to the Police. The strength of KKB's defense equipment has also been identified by the National Police.
"They can already identify their groups, including their leaders. Their number is estimated at more than 150. We have mapped their strengths, let's say the weaponry they have," explained the Head of Penum, the Public Relations Division of the National Police.
As is well known, armed criminal groups in Papua often spread acts of terror both to Papuans and to TNI-Polri personnel. The government itself has designated the KKB as a terrorist group.
Most recently, the National Police Headquarters has provided an estimate of the number of KKB personnel in Papua. It is estimated that the number of KKB personnel reached 150 outside of the KKB sympathizers whose total number is not yet known.
