Barbaric, KKB Kills One Family in Eromaga Papua

The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) killed a family in Eromaga, Omukia District, Puncak Regency, Papua. The death toll was five people.

Head of the Nemangkawi Public Relations Task Force Kombes Pol M Iqbal Alqudusy said the massacre incident occurred in the early hours of Friday (4/6/2021). They are part of the family of the village head of Nipurlema ​​Petianus Kogoya.

"The victim who died was the village head of Nipurlema ​​Petianus Kogoya and his family members," Iqbal said in a written statement, Friday (4/6/2021).

Iqbal added that until now the victim is still in Eromaga and cannot be evacuated.

Earlier on Thursday (3/6/2021), KKB also shot dead a resident in Eromaga Ilaga on behalf of Abel Halenti (30).

As a result of this incident, residents from 10 villages (villages) around Eromaga eventually fled to Kunga. The joint military and police forces continue to pursue the perpetrators of the shooting of the innocent civilians.

The shooter was identified as an armed group led by Lekagak Telenggeng, which has been carrying out terrorist attacks in several districts in Puncak Regency.
