Papuan Community Leaders Support Security Forces to Maintain Peace on Cenderawasih Earth

The government which continues to encourage the security forces, both from the TNI and Polri elements in realizing peace in Papua, has received various supports. Not only from the political elite, but also from community leaders living in Papua.

Community leader Dahur Pahabol said he appreciated the efforts of the TNI-Polri who have worked hard to maintain conducive security stability in Papua. "The synergy between the security forces and the community in maintaining the kamtibmas is very necessary.

The culture of peace can always be maintained together by the community and is not easily believed or provoked by news that is not necessarily true and becomes a hoax in the midst of society which can later cause divisions among the community.

He also reminded the people to stick to the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia. He also thanked the security forces, namely the TNI-Polri, who have given a sense of security to the people in Puncak Regency. This security allows people's daily activities to run safely and peacefully.

This statement from the community is based on reality, because in recent times there have been various attacks on civilians carried out by members of the OPM group who continue to try to disrupt security. Therefore, the majority of residents support the firm's efforts to maintain peace on this Cenderawasih earth.

For this reason, we ask the community to hold fast to the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia and support the security forces in realizing peace in the Papua region.
