Three Hotels in Sentani Install TV Signage, Simplify Information on PON Papua

Three hotels in the Sentani area, Jayapura Regency have been equipped with television signage to support the implementation of the XX Papua National Sports Week (PON).

The installation of television signage is carried out by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) PB PON XX Papua through Sub PB PON XX Jayapura Regency. The three hotels in question are Hotel Horex, Grand Alison and Sunni Garden Lake Sentani.

The Coordinator of ICT for Sub-PB PON XX Jayapura Regency, Gustaf Griapon said, television signage is an information board with digital technology that displays content in the form of images and videos about information during PON XX.

The signage television will display education and information about the XX PON matches as well as information about tourism in the Jayapura Regency area that athletes can visit.

"The flight schedule during PON XX can be monitored through signage television," said Gustaf after handing over the television signage to the Horex Sentani hotel, Thursday, September 2, 2021.

According to Gustaf, the installation of smart devices in 3 well-known hotels is due to being one of the places to stay for athletes from outside Papua during the XX PON match in Jayapura Regency.

"Athletes outside Papua can easily get information about PON XX or about Jayapura Regency, including tourism," said Gustaf.
