Sri Mulyani Reveals XX Papua PON Spends Rp 10.43 Trillion State Budget

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati opened up about the state budget that has been spent to support the implementation of the XX Papua PON.

According to the former Managing Director of the World Bank, when detailed, the total APBN money that has been spent to support the implementation of the XX Papua PON is Rp 10.43 trillion.

The amount of APBN funds to finance XX Papua PON because the disbursement has been carried out since 2018 to 2021.

In addition, large funds were also issued by the central government for the purposes of building new infrastructure, especially sports facilities and infrastructure for a number of sports in the XX Papua PON.

As is known, supporting infrastructure in Papua is relatively lagging behind other regions. So that the government feels it is necessary to build several sports facilities with national, even international standards.

Sri Mulyani said that the distribution of APBN funds for PON XX Papua was carried out through various schemes, both direct expenditures from ministries and institutions and transfers to the Papua Province APBD.

"The cost of preparing and organizing the 20th PON in Papua is financed from 2018-2021 by the APBN (#uangkita) channeled through the APBD (Infrastructure Supplementary Fund-DTI; Special Autonomy Fund (DOtsus); Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH), Special Physical Aocation Fund (DTI). DAKF) and KL Shopping (PUPR, Transportation, Menpora, Kominfo, TVRI/REI)," explained Sri Mulyani as quoted from her official Instagram account, Monday (4/10/2021).

2018 (Rp 1.092 trillion)

1. Additional Infrastructure Fund (DTI): IDR 881.5 billion
2. Ministry/Agency Expenditure: IDR 211.2 billion

2019 (Rp 4.386 trillion)

1. Additional Infrastructure Fund (DTI): IDR 716.5 billion
2. Special Autonomy Fund (DOtsus): IDR 1.44 trillion
3. Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH): IDR 1.708 trillion
4. Physical Special Allocation Fund (DAKF): IDR 18.55 billion
5. Ministry/Agency Expenditure: IDR 999.66 billion

Year 2020 (Rp 2.598 trillion)

1. Additional Infrastructure Fund (DTI): IDR 140.5 billion
2. Special Autonomy Fund (DOtsus): IDR 1.44 trillion
3. Physical Special Allocation Fund (DAKF): IDR 18.55 billion
4. Ministry/Agency Expenditure: IDR 999.66 billion

2021 (Rp 2.373 trillion)

1. Central Government assistance through the Ministry of Youth and Sports to Papua: IDR 1.58 trillion
2. Ministry/Agency Expenditure: IDR 793.73 billion

President Joko Widodo officially opened the XX National Sports Week (PON) in Jayapura, Papua on Saturday (2/10/2021). The opening of this quadrennial sporting event is centered at the Lukas Enembe Stadium.

Jokowi also invited to celebrate the XX PON with joy, uphold sportsmanship, strengthen brotherhood, and togetherness, equality and national unity.

A number of well-known Indonesian artists will fill the opening ceremony of the Papua PON, starting from Tulus, Ruth Sahanaya, Nowela Elizabeth Auparay, Edo Kondologit, Trio Papua, to the Cenderawasih University Gema Chandra Choir.

Presenter Raffi Ahmad was asked to be the MC for the opening ceremony of the XX Papua PON. Raffi was accompanied by Intan Saumadina, Piter Ginuy, and Irsa Yoku. Nagita Slavina's husband was seen wearing a special PON XX jacket and a Papuan traditional hat.
