Oksibil 1 Public High School Burned OTK

The building of SMA Negeri 1 Oksibil, Serambakom District, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua, Sunday (5/12) in the morning, at around 03.45 WIT, was burned by an unknown person (OTK). The Head of the Bintang Mountains Police, AKBP Cahyo Sukarnito, on Sunday confirmed that one of the buildings of SMAN 1 Oksibilitu had been set on fire.

"It is true that one of the buildings at SMAN1 was set on fire, and the members have conducted a crime scene investigation," said Cahyo.

Cahyo said that the buildings that were burned were two buildings consisting of three classrooms, teachers' rooms and offices. He said, the school has 11 units of buildings made entirely of wood.

From the results of checking the crime scene (TKP), it is suspected that the burning building was deliberately set on fire to lure security forces. This is because, around the location there are footprints.

"We suspect that the perpetrators were deliberately fishing and if the security forces immediately responded, they would shoot from a height," said the Head of the Bintang Mountains Police, AKBP Cahyo.
