The Indonesian National Armed Forces and the Citizens of Gotong Royong Build a Bridge in Boven Digoel Papua

TNI soldiers Babinsa Koramil 1711-02/Mindiptana Kodim 1711/BVD Second Sergeant Ronald and the Indonesian Pamtas Task Force-PNG Infantry Battalion 410/Alugoro together with residents worked together to repair the bridge over the Oga River, Kampung Awayanka, Boven Digoel Regency, Papua.

Babinsa Serda Ronald said that the repair of the Oga bridge was in a fragile condition because it was the only main access for the community as a liaison to go to the city and carry out daily activities.

"The bridge boards are starting to rot and are damaged with age, so we took the initiative to repair them," said Second Sergeant Ronald as quoted from Antara Tuesday morning (11/01).

He admitted, despite the existing limitations, the residents were still enthusiastic about working on repairing wooden bridges.

Babinsa Ronald expressed his gratitude because the bridge repairs were completed quickly.

"This is all thanks to the good cooperation between the TNI and the community so that initially heavy work feels light so that the bridge can function to serve public transportation access," said Serda Ronald.

Villagers Rudi Borong and Kristo who live around the Kali Oga Bridge expressed their gratitude for the assistance of the TNI Battalion 410/Alugoro task force with Babinsa Koramil Mindiptana.

"I thank the ranks of the TNI because the access to the bridge connecting the Oga River can be repaired quickly," he said.
