KKB Launches Terror Action Again, One TNI Officer is Shot

The Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB) has again acted by carrying out acts of terror in the form of robbery, security disturbances and even heinous murders. Kapendam XVII/Cenderawasih Colonel Inf. Aqsha Erlangga, revealed that the terror carried out by the Papuan KKB resulted in one TNI soldier being shot in the Omukia district, Puncak Regency.

Aqsha said the victim who was shot was an Indonesian native Papuan from the Biak Tribe. Currently, the victim Praka Fermansyah is conscious and has been evacuated to the Ilaga Health Center, Puncak Regency by using the Ilaga Airport Ambulance.

"Furthermore, it is planned that the victim will be evacuated using an Indonesian Air Force helicopter to Mozes Kilangin Mimika Airport," he said.

Furthermore, Aqsa said that the gang who shot TNI officers had carried out many acts of terror and violence. "The acts of terror they carried out were very barbaric, violated human rights, were inhumane, and clearly did not want development to take place in Papua," he said.

According to Aqsa, many facts show that they are terrorists, often spreading hoax news and damaging public facilities. "We ask for prayers so that the TNI officers shot by KST recover soon and can return to duty," he said.
