TNI Shoots Victims of KKB Papuan Sons

One member of the TNI Kopasgat Air Force Task Force was shot by an armed criminal group (KKB), at Aminggaru Ilaga Airport, Omukia District, Puncak Regency, Saturday, February 19, 2022. The victim is the head soldier (Praka) Fermansyah.
 
"The victim who was shot was an Indonesian native Papuan from the Biak Tribe," said Kapendam XVII/Cenderawasih Colonel Inf Aqsha Erlangga in a written statement, Saturday, February 19, 2022.
 
He explained that Fermansyah had a gunshot wound to the right shoulder. Currently, the victim's condition is conscious and has been evacuated to the Ilaga Health Center, Puncak Regency.
 
"Furthermore, it is planned that the victim will be evacuated using an Indonesian Air Force helicopter to Mozes Kilangin Mimika Airport," he added.
 
Aqsa said the KKB gang, whose group identity has not been identified, often carry out acts of terror against the local authorities and community. Their actions violate human rights and are inhumane.
 
He hopes that this terrorist act will not happen again. Because it interferes with the wheels of development in Papua.
 
"Let's build Papua, create peace, so that the welfare of the people on Earth of Cenderawasih that we love together can manifest," he hoped.
