TNI's Concern for the Health of Papuan Leaders




The form of public concern and appreciation with the TNI and the community in helping the process of handling the health of a former Papuan figure who was a historical actor in the 1969 People's Opinion (Pepera) Ramses Ohee. The action was taken after news of Ramses Ohee's current deteriorating health condition.

Kapendam XVII/Cenderawasih Colonel Inf Aqsha Erlangga said that the health treatment for Ramses Ohee had been carried out on Sunday (13/2/2022) night by transferring the treatment of the Papuan figure from Dian Harapan Hospital to Marthen Indey Hospital.
 
He added that the Commander of the XVII/Cenderawasih Regional Military Command was very concerned about all Papuan people, even more so for the leaders who have fought and are still role models for the community.

“Things like this have caught the attention of the Commander in Chief, so many have visited and given encouragement and prayers for the recovery of Mr. Ramses Ohee who is being treated at the hospital. Marthen Indey Jayapura," said Kapendam.

Currently, said Kapendam, Ramses Ohee has received intensive care in the ER Marthen Indey Hospital.

"Please pray for his recovery, hopefully he will recover soon and be able to return to his activities with his family," said Kapendam, Tuesday (15/2/2022).

It is known that Ramses Ohee is a living witness to the struggle of Papuan representatives from all over Papua and West Papua to remain united with the Republic of Indonesia.
