Yalimo Kodim Task Force Battalion RK 751/VJS Help Improve the Economy of Residents at the Border




The Yalimo Kodim Task Force Yonif RK 751/VJS not only carries out security duties in the Papua region which is considered vulnerable, but is also required to create harmonious relations and also assist residents in the area. These include improving health as well as helping to improve the economy of border residents in each assigned area.

In helping residents improve the economy, the Yalimo Kodim Task Force Yonif RK 751/VJS made it happen by providing assistance with several plant seeds, including peanut seeds which are now ready to be harvested.

Sertu Romli together with the Task Force personnel who were invited by residents of Dabra District, Mamberamo Raya Regency, to jointly harvest peanuts said that this invitation was a form of gratitude from the residents to the Task Force personnel who had provided seed assistance.
 
"We, the Task Force personnel, are very close to the residents in our assigned area, in every activity that residents do, we often involve us, as we are currently participating in, we are invited by residents to jointly harvest peanuts whose seeds used to come from from the assistance of the Task Force," he said.

Sertu Romli admitted that he was very proud to be able to feel what had been given to the residents.

"Hopefully this harvest can improve the people's economy and provide an example for other residents to participate in farming," said Sergeant Romli.
 
Mrs. Melina, 35, who owns the garden, expressed her gratitude to the personnel of the Battalion Battalion RK 751/VJS who had been present to help carry out the peanut harvest together.

"I would like to thank the Task Force brothers who came to harvest peanuts with us, we deliberately invited the army brothers because the seeds we wanted to harvest first came from the brothers from the post," he said.

Inf Lieutenant Colonel Dedy Dwi Cahyadi as Dansatgas Kodim Yalimo Yonif RK 751/VJS said that this peanut harvesting activity was a tangible result of what the Task Force personnel did when providing assistance for several kinds of plant seeds, including peanut seeds.
 
"As Dansatgas I feel proud of what the Task Force personnel have done in each assignment area," he said.

Lt. Col. Dedy dwi hopes that what has been done by the Task Force personnel can strengthen good relations and can improve the welfare of the residents.

"With the togetherness of the Task Force personnel and residents, I believe and believe that the situation in the area that has been considered vulnerable will become safe and peaceful," said the Dansatgas.
