The RI-PNG Pamtas Task Force Battalion 711/Raksatama provides health knowledge for elementary school students

The Indonesian Pamtas Task Force-PNG Infantry Battalion 711/Raksatama Pos Arso Kota provided medical knowledge to students of SD Inpres Kwimi, Arso Village, Arso City District, Keerom Regency, Papua.

The Commander of Pos (Danpos) Arso City, First Lieutenant Inf Ayub Edi Harahap in a press release in Jayapura, Friday, said the activity was part of the task force's work program, namely providing teaching assistance to schools in the Papua border region.

"This health provision is very important to convey so that the Papuan border community is increasingly concerned with health problems," he said.

According to Danpos Ayub, the Pos Arso Kota health team and members, as implementers of activities in the field, divide activities into two methods, namely theory and practice.

"In general, theory provides knowledge on how to implement a healthy lifestyle in conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.

He explained that while the practical materials included how to wash hands and wear masks properly, it was related to the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We provide knowledge provision to SD Inpres Kwimi here, although with limitations, it is hoped that it can become a valuable knowledge provision for them in the future," he said again.

Meanwhile, the Principal of SD Inpres Kwimi Marcelina representing all teachers at the school was very happy and thanked all personnel of the Indonesian Pamtas Task Force-PNG Infantry Battalion 711/Rks.

"I would like to thank the TNI, especially the City Arso Post, who have sincerely and enthusiastically provided knowledge about health to children," he said.
