Yapen Regent: The Spirit of Hardiknas 2022 Moment to Improve Education Quality

The Yapen Islands Regency Government held a commemoration ceremony for the 2022 National Education Day or Hardiknas in the Trikora Serui courtyard, Friday, May 13, 2022.

The Hardiknas commemoration was attended by a number of Forkopimda, Regional Apparatus Organization Leaders (OPD), teachers and State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as well as students.
 
The Regent of the Yapen Islands, Tonny Tesar, said he was proud that the educational boat still sailed despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Our educational boats continue to sail despite the pandemic conditions, we are able to prove that despite the pandemic, the students have not lost their lessons," he said reading the remarks of the Indonesian Minister of Education, Nadiem Makarim.
 
Tonny Tesar hopes that the spirit of Hardiknas in 2022 can motivate teachers to improve their self-quality and elements related to improving the quality of education.

One of them, continued Tonny Tesar, is changing attitudes to achieve change in the world of education. "We have proven that we are able to compete with the outside world, especially mental and behavioral as well as knowledge," he said.
