Kominfo Papua hopes that MSMEs will take advantage of digital marketing

The Papua Province Communication and Information Office expects Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to take advantage of digital marketing to boost the growth of MSMEs in Bumi Cenderawasih.

Head of the Papua Province Communication and Information Office, Jeri Yudianto, told Antara in Jayapura, Sunday, that in accordance with the president's directive, which targets 30 million MSMEs in 2024, his party appealed to business actors to take advantage of digital marketing.

"We in Papua have responded well so we have to follow these steps, especially since there are many digital ecosystems created by the government," he said.

According to Jeri, by utilizing digitalization, MSME actors can get many benefits, one of which is a very wide range of buyers.

"That way, Papuan MSMEs can advance to class, for that all business actors must take advantage of the infrastructure that has been built," he said.

He explained that, of course, there would be a lot of added value, as well as to increase the use of domestic production.

"Through applications that have been made, such as local e-catalogs, the goal is to enter the digital market, but its reach is still local," he said.

He added that infrastructure cannot be equated with other regions, but its status is still being developed. For this reason, through digital MSMEs, it is hoped that there will be added value that is useful with the construction of the infrastructure.
