The Raja Ampat Regency Government adds ships to serve the community and tourists

The Raja Ampat Regency Government, West Papua Province, added one ship to serve the Sorong-Waisai shipping route to provide easy transportation for the public and tourists.

Deputy Regent of Raja Ampat, Orideko I Burdam at Waisai Harbor, the capital of Raja Ampat Regency, Monday, inaugurated the operation of the Priscilia 99 Express Ship to serve public transportation and tourists to Raja Ampat.
 
The inaugural cruise with the Waisai route to Sorong City on Monday afternoon is free or free for all levels of society.

The deputy regent said the local government appreciated PT Fajar Indah Lines for presenting a new fleet to serve the public and tourists to Raja Ampat.

He said the presence of the Priscilia 99 Express Ship was very helpful for the Raja Ampat Regency Government in providing adequate and smooth transportation facilities for tourists and the community.
 
Raja Ampat tourism began to rise after the corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic. Tourists are starting to come to visit Raja Ampat so that the new fleet of Express Priscilia 99 is believed to be able to increase the number of visits.

More transportation options and quality services will also support the number of tourist visits to Raja Ampat Regency.

"With more tourist visits to Raja Ampat, the economic growth of the local community will also increase," said the deputy regent.

Raja Ampat is a district in West Papua Province with the nickname "a little paradise deep in the earth". Raja Ampat is famous as a beautiful tourist destination that is well known in various parts of the world.

To reach Raja Ampat Regency in eastern Indonesia, both when arriving and returning, tourists must transit in a neighboring area, namely Sorong City.
