The Papua Province Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) and the Ministry of Home Affairs BPSDM, prepared 3,000 ASN, to be distributed in three New Autonomous Regions (DOB). Each DOB gets an allocation of 1,000 ASN.

This was conveyed by the Secretary of BPSDM of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mohammad Rizal, SE, MSi, accompanied by the Expert Staff of the Governor of Papua for Government and People's Welfare, Elsye P. Rumbekwan and Plt. Head of BPSDM Papua Anthony Mirin, during the opening of the coordination meeting for the initial preparation for the implementation of the Human Resource Development Training Center (P3SDM) at the Papua BPSDM Hall, Cigombong, Jayapura City, Friday (4/11/2022).

Rizal said the Ministry of Home Affairs BPSDM data contained 3,000 ASN, each DOB received an allocation of 1,053 ASN, including the Regional Secretary, Head of OPD, Eleson III, IV and ASN.

It is said that the 3,000 ASNs come from the parent province and regencies in the three new autonomous regions.

According to him, his party is trying to organize ASN, which will be distributed in three new autonomous regions, to be trained in training.

"We will draw up a technical plan and what training we will carry out, to train ASN, who will be placed in three new autonomous regions," he said.

It is said that the implementation of the training is planned in 2023, while looking at the available budget.

"For 2022, it is impossible to implement, because the 2022 budget year has ended," he said.

Regarding the quality of ASN human resources, explained Rizal, human resources are ready for three new autonomous regions. Even BPSDM Papua has prepared civil servants from 2022 to 2023, for the Basic Training (Latsar) for CPNS to become civil servants.

“We just need to fill in how many are related to management, administration, finance, archives. That's what we prioritize first in terms of ASN training that is ready to be distributed in three new autonomous regions," he explained.

Elsye P. Rumbekwan said that his party conveyed that the formation of these three new autonomous regions provided an opportunity for career advancement for each ASN.

However, he reminded the Papuan provincial government to be careful and selective in placing ASN, so that it has a positive and satisfying impact for ASN, but also for the people of the three new autonomous regions.

It is said that his party hierarchically has the main task of preparing ASN competency improvement.

"This is very important, especially since the Papua Provincial Government is very wide geographically and regionally, so that ASN placed in these three new autonomous regions must have the ability to provide good services to the community," he said.

It is said that his party is specifically preparing to accelerate the development of ASN human resources itself.

"We hope that the officials who will be placed or occupy important positions in these three new autonomous regions are ready, especially to conduct leadership training both functionally and structurally," he said.

It was explained that there were technical trainings, especially after identifying priority needs for these three new autonomous regions.

“What is important, because each of these new autonomous regions has their own characteristics and characteristics, so that the assigned ASN can work calmly, responsibly, disciplined and diligently. Even though it's simple things, an ASN must serve the community," he concluded.
