The Tourism Office ensures that the Biak Numfor tourist attraction is ready to serve tourists for the Christmas holidays

The Tourism Office (Dispar) of Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, ensures that various tourist objects in Biak are ready to serve tourist visits as we enter the 2023 Christmas and New Year holidays.

"All tourist attraction facilities in Biak Numfor Regency will continue to operate during the Christmas holidays until the New Year to serve visiting tourists," said Head of Biak Tourism Office Onny Dangeubun in Biak, Saturday.

The Head of the Tourism Office, Onny Dangeubun, admitted that the operation of the tourist attraction during the Christmas holidays would remain open according to the time of visit of tourists.

Onny said the Biak Numfor Dispar continued to work together and fully handed over the management of the tourist object to the local indigenous people.

"Every tourist attraction in Biak Numfor opens according to the schedule made by the management of the tourist attractions," said Onny.

The Biak Numfor Dispar for each tourist attraction manager will provide infrastructure facilities for visitors such as vehicle parking lots, gazebos, rest huts and local specialties.

Some of Biak's tourist attractions which are expected to be places for tourists to visit during the Christmas and New Year holidays include the Japanese Binsari cave and the remains of World War II Paray.

Meanwhile, other Biak tourist objects which are favorite destinations for tourists, namely a number of beaches, orchid gardens and bird parks, a fairyland, blue lakes as well as marine tourism and cultural tourism in the Biak ethnic area, maritime tourism in the Padaido/Aimando islands

As well as the tourist attractions of Anggaduber beach and Sorido beach, Raja Tiga Adoki beach and Segara Indah beach, Soryar beach, Paray beach.

Several officers managing tourist attractions, digitalization, tour guides and cave trails from the Tourism Office have provided skills training in an effort to support tourism promotion activities in Biak Numfor Regency.
