Yoku, Former OPM Figure: "Benny Wenda is just lying to Papuans"
Former leader of an independent Papuan organization, Herman A.T. Yoku appealed to all Papuans that what was voiced by the KNPB all this time was a lie and only for the benefit of their own group.
.
"Those are just issues that are spread by the KNPB, all are the lies of the public who think of their own groups," he said.
.
He also revealed that Benny Wenda was just having a great time abroad and at the moment he was confused because he had not paid rent for two months.
.
"Benny was just lying to Papuans with the issue of independence, in fact he was confused about the cost of living abroad," he said.
.
This figure who was arrested also told of his regret after realizing what he had been fighting for along with the independent Papuan organization was a mistake.
.
"I realized I was wrong, an independent Papuan organization was only looking for money for political purposes only, not for the people of Papua," he regretted.
.
At this time Yoku is devoting himself back to the legitimate Indonesian government both according to history and according to the laws in force in the international world.
.
Yoku hopes that Papuans will no longer be agitated by misleading issues from irresponsible parties and want a division in the life of the nation and state of the Papuan people.
