The National Land Agency (BPN) of Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, distributed thousands of land certificates free of charge to the communities of various villages as the implementation of the 2019 Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program.

The symbolic handover of the PTSL program land certificate was carried out by the Regional Secretary of Biak Numfor District Markus O.Mansnembra at the regent's office on Monday. Markus Mansnembra hopes that the distribution of land certificates to the villagers is expected to guarantee legal land ownership rights that have been protected by law.

"Biak Regency Government of Numfor expresses its gratitude for the service performance of Biak BPN, which has already delivered thousands of land certificates to various community communities," said Markus Mansnembra. To the land certificate recipient, Markus asked to guard it because it became a household asset for the future of the family's children and grandchildren.

One resident of the land certificate, Yan Wilem Sarewo, admits that he is happy to get the distribution of land certificates free of charge for houses that are shared with his family at this time.
