Papuan Academy is a training initiated by PT Elnusa Tbk - a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), as an effort to prepare reliable personnel to support operations & maintenance (OM) work at BP Tangguh, Bintuni Bay, West Papua.

This first stage, recruited 20 reliable talents from Papuans. This program is comprehensively carried out using the 10-20-70 method (10% classroom training, 20% Coaching & Mentoring and 70% On Job Training) with trainers from internal and external Elnusa which is carried out in approximately 2 months. They eventually began their duties later in the area of ​​operation.

Koes who was accompanied by Elizar P. Hasibuan, President Director of PT. Elnusa, Tbk. during the dialogue, very impressed when one of the participants raised the question whether there would be an opportunity for their other colleagues. This question is based on the participants' desire to help develop Papua together so that Papua can continue to progress and be more prosperous like other regions in Indonesia.
