Jayawijaya Regency Government allocates IDR 7 billion for Yalengga clean water

The Government of Jayawijaya Regency, Papua Province has allocated IDR 7 billion to install clean water installations for the community in Yalengga District. Jayawijaya Regent Jhon Richard Banua in Yalengga, Jayawijaya Regency, said Tuesday that some people in the area had not yet received clean water.
.
"The year 2020 has already been worked on and endeavored to have been completed," he said. Actually, the Rp7 billion fund will be distributed to connect clean water installations in several districts, but the regent directs all to Yalengga.
.
"I ask from the public works department not to divide up funds for clean water installations, but rather to focus on Yalengga District first, so that next year we move to the other district," he said.
.
Jhon said that clean water has become an urgent need for the Yalengga community, especially in Puskesmas which are temporarily being pushed into inpatient puskesmas. So far, not all Yalengga District residents enjoy clean water, especially those who are far from springs.
.
"During this time the community also uses clean water, only not all enjoy it. For example in health centers using rainfall water," he said.
