"There are already several private parties ready to invest. It's just that the problem of legal certainty over land ownership is still a problem. There are already investors who want to build a hotel but land status is the problem. Businessmen want land that already has a certificate, "said Yosias, Monday (01/20/2020).

It is known, the Arfak Mountains Regency government is currently trying to free up approximately 198 hectares of land consisting of dozens of customary owners. Hundreds of this land will later be used for the benefit of the construction of government facilities and public facilities.

Arfak Mountains Regency is one of the regions in West Papua that has superior tourism potential, especially mountain tourism. According to Yosias Saroy, the budget allocation for developing tourism potential is still minimal.

"Local governments are still focused on developing infrastructure, government facilities and public facilities. Especially this year we face the elections. Almost all of the general allocation funds have been absorbed by the local elections, "said Yosias.
