BBM is still distributed even though Papua is not conducive

In order to evenly distribute the One-Price BBM supply in Papua and to serve the people in need, the Management of PT Pertamina Marketing Operation Region VIII Maluku-Papua ensures the supply of fuel oil (BBM) remains smooth even though the security situation in some regions in Papua is less conducive.

"In principle, we continue to distribute as requested by the local government," said GM Pertamina MOR VIII Maluku-Papua, Herra Indrawirawan, in Jayapura, Friday (6/3/2020).

Herra added, for our channeling institutions, we still recommend from the local government. So, we want to channel it conducive or not according to the provisions set in Bali.

With the security situation in some regions in Papua being less conducive, the fuel supply is intended to provide a sense of justice for the foremost, outermost, and remote areas through the One Price BBM program.

Unit Manager Communication Relations and CSR, Edy Mangun, said that one price fuel or subsidy is owned by the government so that fuel distribution is according to instructions from the central government.

"Pertamina as the executor executes what is appointed. If the government says this must be added, we will run it, "said Mangun.

Mangun added, so that the One Price BBM program could be distributed according to the target, Pertamina cooperated with the local government and security forces so that the fuel distribution was right on target.
