Member of the Regional Representative Council Helina Murib appealed for the Papuan Orang Asli (OAP) and Papuans to remain vigilant because the Corona Virus outbreak remained at home. Follow the recommendations issued by the government and the Covid-19 cluster team.

"Papuans still hold themselves back at home. Leave the ability to gather together for a while. If we do this we will save OAP from the threat of Covid-19, "he said.

Murib said that the steps of the Papua Provincial Governor's Communication Forum (Forkompimda) for social restrictions were very good. Because other areas in Indonesia the patient continues to grow. If aircraft and ship access are opened in Papua, it is feared that it will increase.

"I hope the government should recruit a team of volunteers, help socialize the community and conduct quarantine in each RT / RW in order to anticipate the spread of the corona virus," he said.

"To reduce the spread of Covid -19, we must also learn from experience from other regions that have succeeded in reducing the spread of the corona virus," he said.
