Grant assistance for cleaning facilities

The Jayapura City Government, Papua Province, through the Tourism Office, handed over cleanliness facilities for managers of coastal tourism objects.

The aid was symbolically handed over at Hamadi Beach, Wednesday (27/1/2021), which came from special autonomy funds and grants from the Jayapura City Tourism Office for the 2020 budget year.

The types of assistance that come from the special autonomy fund include 101 trash rakes, 101 broom sticks, 100 trash scoops, 84 trash cans, 1 changing room or toilet, three sets of seats and tables.

Assistance for cleaning facilities sourced from a grant from the Jayapura City Tourism Office, namely 100 hand washing stations, 100 trash bins, 50 round tents, 100 stick brooms (stalks), 100 trash scoops, 100 trash rakes.

The recipients of the grant, which came from the special autonomy fund, were as many as 86 tourism managers in Hamadi Beach, Cibery Beach, and Holtekamp Beach.

Facilities and infrastructure for tourism objects sourced from the Tourism Office grant were given to 182 managers of tourist destinations at Base-G Beach, Hamadi Beach, Cibery Beach, Holtekamp Beach, hot spring tourist attractions in Kampung Moso, Jokowi and Yoka hills.

"The purpose of providing this assistance is to assist tourism managers in providing beauty, comfort and cleanliness. The development of tourist destinations in Jayapura City will also help develop the economy of tourism managers, "said the Head of the Jayapura City Tourism Office, Matias B. Mano.

The Mayor of Jayapura, Benhur Tomi Mano, said that tourist attractions are well organized and managed to bring benefits.

"My message is, on Sundays, don't hurry to the beach but join in praying to church first, because God has provided blessings," said Tomi Mano.

Tomi Mano hopes that the aid recipients of the sanitation facilities for beach tourism will help to be well maintained and cared for, so that it is especially useful in improving the economy.

"Those who have not received assistance, I ask to be patient. We will definitely provide assistance, "said Tomi Mano.
