Education affects a person's mindset. The higher the education, the more courageous they will be to face challenges and get out of their comfort zone.

The development of this mindset has also occurred for youth from Papua. They are now increasingly receiving higher education and no longer have to depend on being civil servants (PNS).

Director of the Kalaway Muda Institute Nanny Uswanas said that the development of Human Resources (HR) in the education sector in Papua and West Papua has increased. This increase was influenced in part by the smooth operation of the special autonomy fund (Otsus) from the government.

"So far the impact of Otsus on the Land of Papua in the education sector has made many Papuan friends become scholars, and others, they have received scholarships from the Central Government Otsus," said Nanny Uswanas in a discussion on the Webinar on the Benefits of Special Autonomy for Papuan Youth Education and Development, Friday (6 /11 nights.

With many who have received higher education, said Nanny Uswanas, many Papuan children have left their comfort zone. They follow the times and are not fixed as civil servants. Many have become entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, and others.

Nanny Uswanas emphasized again that education in Papua has developed and has changed the mindsed of local youth. They have many good talents.

Papua Youth Leader Ali Kabiay assessed that the special autonomy funds for Papua have been successful so far. Management is running well and building Papuan human resources. "Special Autonomy for Papua has not failed," said Ali.

Ali asked that the special autonomy funds be channeled properly and on target for the next generation of Papuan children. This special autonomy is managed by the Papua Provincial Government. The Special Autonomy Fund must be used properly and evaluated.
