Supporting Electricity Supply for the Success of PON XX, GM of PLN Papua Unit Meet with the Military Commander

Pangdam XVII / Cenderawasih Maj. Gen. Ignatius Yogo Triyono, M.A received a working visit from the General Manager of PLN's Maluku-Papua Main Development Unit, Mr. Reisal Rimtahi Hasoloan with the Team, in the Cycloop room Makodam XVII / Cenderawasih, Jayapura.

In a written statement of the XVII / Cenderawasih Military Command Information, Thursday (25/3/2021), during his visit the General Manager of PLN Maluku-Papua said that the purpose of visiting the XVII / Cenderawasih Kodam aims to increase cooperation and synergy between PLN and the Regional Military Command which has been running with good.

"Our goal is to come to the Kodam to increase cooperation and synergy that has gone well in providing a good electricity network for the people of Papua," he said.

He further stated that in the near future there will be XX PON events in 2021 in several cities in Papua Province, where the electricity network will be very much needed to make this activity a success.

"In the future there will be XX PON in Papua, so the electricity network will be very much needed in this activity," he added.

Responding to this, Pangdam XVII / Cenderawasih said the Kodam would try to help as much as possible, especially since the aim of the activity was good and beneficial to the people of Papua.

"Seeing the need for an electricity network in the Papua region, as the Pangdam and members of the Regional Military Command, I will try to assist the PLN in providing electricity networks so that all areas in Papua Province can have electricity properly," concluded the Pangdam.
