PLN Timika management ensures that the electricity network installation to the PON venue is already 80 percent.
The connection can be made at any time depending on the notification from the Timika PON Sub PB.

Head of UP3 PLN Timika, Martinus Pasensi, told reporters at the Baliem Café, Horison Ultima Saturday (14/3) said that during a meeting with PB PON some time ago, PLN Management conveyed its readiness for the PON.

"The network has reached 80 percent to all venues, it's just that the connection is still waiting for coordination with PB PON," he said.

He said there were several venues that were already connected but had to add more power to prevent power outages.

PLN is also preparing mobile equipment such as generators, travo and several others that can move to the PON location.

“At least we need until June to power all these venues. The remaining few months we will carry out tests and if something goes wrong, the officers will immediately replace them with standard equipment, ”said Martinus.

He stated, PLN will be as much as possible in service before and during the PON.

"It is true that PON will be conducted in October, but there are several sports that have started September so that September PLN has been engaged in the field full time. "The officers and supporting equipment are in a position that is ready to use in the field," explained Pasensi.
