The Head of Information for the Joint Regional Defense Command (Kogabwilhan) III, Colonel Czi IGN Suriastawa, said that the joint TNI-Polri apparatus was currently conducting sweeps to locations that were analyzed as hiding places for the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) or the Separatist Terrorist Group (KST) in a number of locations. areas in Papua and West Papua.

This, said Suriastawa, is because the people who are members of the KKB must indeed be brought to justice so that the search and sweeping process continues to be carried out by his side.

"Until now, we have been pursuing them by sweeping to locations that were analyzed as hiding places, sooner or later the KKB terrorists must be brought to justice," said Suriastawa via short message to CNNIndonesia.com, Friday (28/5).

Suriastawa admitted that so far the KKB have also frequently released various misleading hoaxes. However, his party did not want to respond to the arguments or incorrect statements made by the KKB.

"Let it be, what is clear is our obligation to maintain the integrity and sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, and to protect all citizens from any threats, including KKB terrorists," he said.

Moreover, Suriastawa said, the amount of false information that these KKB members continue to spread also proves that they are currently under pressure. The KKB have been surrounded by the joint military and police officers.
