Commands of the Papuan Police Chief Firmly, Send a Call to the Chairperson of the Tolikara DPRD




Papua Police Chief Inspector General Mathius D Fakhiri sent a summons to the chairman of the Tolikara DPRD, Sonny Wanimbo regarding the alleged supply of weapons to the Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB).

"We have sent a summons to the chairman of the Tolikara DPRD," said Mathius D Fakhiri, in Jayapura, Thursday (15/7). The Papuan Police made sure as much as possible to reveal those who contributed to Neson Murib. Previously, Neson Murib alias Ratius Murib was arrested at Mulia Airport, Puncak Jaya Regency, on June 14, 2021. When arrested by the Nemangkawi Task Force, Neson Murib was caught with Rp. 370 million in cash.

Information emerged that Neson Murib had received Rp. 370 million from the chairman of the Tolikara DPRD, Sonny Wanimbo. Mathius said that his party believes that if the money will be used to buy firearms in Mimika Regency, it is suspected that KKB will supply it.

Meanwhile, the Director General of the Papua Regional Police, Kombes Faisal Ramadhani, said that the first summons to the chairman of the Tolikara DPRD, Sonny Wanimbo, had already passed. However, until now the person concerned has not arrived. Therefore, the police will send a second call. ]
