Taher explained that the processed wood was sent from the Port of Depapre to Merauke for the needs of the people in the area, including to support the needs of the XX Papua PON 2021 in Merauke Regency.

"So, this wood processing is not only to meet the needs of the people of Merauke Regency, but also to support the implementation of the XX Papua PON in the area. Therefore, we also maximize the presence of the Sea Toll Road to support PON XX Papua," he explained.

Currently, according to Taher, the level of community need to use the Sea Toll is quite high and coupled with the holding of the XX 2021 Papua PON in Merauke Regency, so that it boosts the regional potential in producing superior commodities. "These superior commodities are processed by local entrepreneurs, in this case the development of processed wood into furniture such as beds, sofas, chairs and mattresses and in the future several other regional superior commodities will continue to increase along with sea toll services that continue to be maximized. This processed product will be distributed to several areas in Mimika Regency and also in Merauke and even to several other regencies and cities in West Papua Province, "he concluded.
