Mama Papua Traders in Sorong Receive President's Aid

A total of 5000 social assistance from President Jokowi was immediately handed over to the people in Sorong who were affected by the Covid 19 pandemic, including the Mama Papua traders.

Hearing the cries of the people from the eastern tip of Indonesia, President Jokowi immediately sent 5000 food packages to the people in the city of Sorong, West Papua, those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic who had not yet received assistance.

The assistance distributed by the Police and the TNI is targeted at Mama Papua traders who are betel nut sellers on the side of the road.

The people who received the assistance were grateful for being able to get the government's attention, because during the pandemic the economy of the community's family was very disturbed. With the hope that this assistance can be useful for them.
