He is EB (initials), the head of the Wusama District which is equivalent to a sub-district head in other areas.

As is known, there are different terms in referring to an area in Papua.

While most local governments in Indonesia have provincial, district/city, sub-district, kelurahan, community units, and neighborhood units, in Papua there is the term district.

District is the designation for sub-districts in Papua.

The district is headed by a district head or camat level.

In this case, EB, who is the head of the Wusama District, deliberately invited the Papuan KKB led by Tenius Gwijangge to carry out a series of killings, arsons and shootings against civilians and security forces.

In this case, the Nemangkawi Task Force arrested 8 people including the Head of the Wusama District with the initials EB, in Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency, on Friday (27/8/2021).

After being investigated, 4 people were named suspects related to KKB in this area.

"EB, who is the head of the Wusama district, acts as the brain and funder for KKB activities," said the head of the Nemangkawi Law Enforcement Task Force, Kombes Pol Faizal Ramadhani.

Besides EB, there is also a resident with the initials EH, a driver who often delivers KKB needs.

Meanwhile, Y is EB's nephew whose role is to prepare KKB logistics needs.

YH is a member of the KKB who often takes part directly in various actions, including the murder of four construction workers in Bingky Village, Seradala District, on 29 June 2021 and the killing of two PT Indo Papua workers at the Kali Brazza Bridge on 23 August 2021.

Although the KKB figures have been identified, namely Tenius Gwijangge, Senate Soll, and Temianus Magayang, the authorities have had difficulty tracking down the whereabouts of the KKB.

Luckily, they got information from one of the residents about the existence of a suspicious four-wheeled vehicle.

"So there is a black car that likes to go back and forth from Dekai to the location of the incident (Brazza River bridge), when it was tracked the vehicle actually passed in front of the Mapolres (Yahukimo) and was immediately led inside," said Faizal in Jayapura, on Monday. (30/8/2021).

EH, the driver of the vehicle, was then questioned by investigators from the Yahukimo Police.

From the examination, it was discovered that dozens of people related to the KKB were at the house of the Wusama District Head, EB, in Dekai.

Faizal, who had been in Dekai until August 28, 2021, ordered a joint team to make an arrest on Friday (27/8/2021) night at around 20.00 WIT.

But unfortunately, about five people escaped during the arrest.

"So there are two buildings in EB's residence, the house in front and the honai behind it. We managed to secure all of the eight people who were in the house, five people who were honai fled," he said.

These four suspects were charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code regarding premeditated murder.

The threat of punishment is death or imprisonment for life or a maximum of 20 years.
