TNI-Polri Work Hard to Build Bridges Damaged by Papuan KKB, Targeted 2 Weeks to Complete 4 Days

The joint TNI-Polri apparatus is working hard to rebuild the bridge in Maybrat Regency which was damaged by the Papuan KKB.

As a result, the TNI-Polri managed to build 2 bridges faster than the targeted time.

The two bridges were targeted to be completed within 2 weeks, but the TNI-Polri managed to complete them in 4 days.

Launching from kasuari18-tniad.mil.id, the joint military apparatus of the XVIII/Kasuari Military Command and the Police in the Maybrat area finally succeeded in building two new bridges in Fakario Village, Maybrat Regency, West Papua.

The condition of the connecting bridge in Fakario Village was previously cut off because it was damaged and destroyed by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB), so that the access road could not be passed by people or vehicles and endangered residents.

The two bridges built are a one-span bridge with a length of six meters and a two-span bridge with a length of ten meters.

The officers worked day and night to complete the construction which started last Tuesday (14/09).

From the two-week target expected by the Regent of Maybrat, the TNI-Polri personnel were able to complete it within four days.

After the construction was completed, the bridge was tested to determine its strength and safety through dump trucks with a total load of 8 tons and the results were safe and there was no wobble.

In addition to the combined personnel of the apparatus, the construction was also assisted by various heavy equipment such as exca pc 200, tronton trucks, dump trucks and cainsaw machines.

The units involved from the TNI are Battalion RK 762, Yon Zipur 20 and Kodim 1809/Maybrat. While from the Police, namely from the Brimob unit.
